A Boundary Survey is a legally binding, accurate diagram of your property’s boundaries.

Our Licensed Land Surveyors investigate the survey history of your property and use the latest equipment and technology to scientifically measure and re-define your boundaries. We present our findings in a detailed plan and/or report, which becomes a legal document once registered with the Titles Office.

Only a Licensed Land Surveyor registered under the Surveying Act 2004 can perform a Boundary Survey (aka Cadastral Survey). The results feed into The Cadastre (regulated by the state government) – the ever-changing, overarching network of land administration that provides the information required for your Land Title.

Titles Office, councils, builders, solicitors and even fencing contractors trust the accuracy of the data from your Boundary Plan.

Why do I need one?

To give you (and those around you) certainty about your boundaries. You can’t understand or respect what you don’t know. Whether you’re building a new fence or hoping to take possession of that vacant land behind your block, knowing your boundaries lets you move forward with confidence.

Your project, your survey.

No two projects (or even boundaries) are the same. Your project details will decide the type of Boundary Survey you need. The team at Smith Land Surveyors can help you with a full range of Boundary Surveys and related processes.
